Here are 3 simple things I do to boost my views on Instagram Reels:
The obvious way to get more views on Reels is to be consistent in creating reels. You cannot predict which Reels will go viral. I’ve experienced several viral videos that helped me to grow my followers organically. However, viral reels that get more reels cannot be predicted. That’s exactly why you have to be consistent and create more video content for reels.
Sometimes you may feel like you’re running out of ideas for Reels content, but my 6-Figure Content Course teaches how to create Instagram & Reels Content to help grow your business.
Instagram Reels allows you to add audio to your videos. You can tell when a specific audio is trending by seeing the diagonal arrow next to the audio. You can see an example of trending Reels audio below in the red box on my screenshot from my Reels video.
When choosing my Instagram Reels audio, I typically like to look for audio clips that are already trending which is an indicator that my video may get more views because it’s trending audio.
This has really helped me get more views on Reels because of popular audio is going to get more views on the Reels algorithm.
To be honest, I don’t know exactly how the Instagram Reels algorithm works, however, I know that using trending audio helps you get more views on some of your Reels.
If you see a type of Reels video concept trending, act quickly. You don’t want to wait too long to jump on the trend because the Reels video popularity may die down by the time you post.
With Instagram Reels, there are trends that are popularized and die down quickly. We can all remember the height of the 2020 pandemic when the viral Instagram reels to “Don’t Rush” audio came along. Everyone wanted to hop on it, but it got old after a while. We were tired of seeing reels with the same transitions and endings.
The same thing happened with the “Buss it” challenge. There were tons of Reels that got lots of views, but after a while, the hype died down. That’s why it’s important to move quickly on trends to get more views on your Reels. This will also help you gain more followers if you already have really great content on your profile!
